Mr. Revok Sr.
I had the pleasure of getting to meet and talk a little story with Revok/Jason’s Dad during the MoCA show, as well as during Jason’s solo show at Known Gallery. He is a very proud father and it was great to see him supporting his sons hard work in a art form that is still misunderstood and under appreciated despite being as celebrated, widespread and well known as it is. Little fact: Jason’s dad was the first person to put a spray can into Jasons hand when he was 12 or 13 years old, creating a Thrasher stencil for the young future Revok.

revok & charles
These photos are a slight preview of a video I shot of Revok painting a billboard the other night right on the Sunset strip in Hollywood. Working on the edit right now and should be up soon. This image I purposely shot out of focus. I have been interested in seeing how far I can go with shooting stuff out of focus while still maintaining a solid sense of composition without compromising the story telling of the photo.

massive surf killers
When I was up in the bay area a week or so ago I met up with Reyes and Steel and went out and shot some photos. Here are a few from the night without giving too much away.

KCET
This is a video that KCET did on “graffiti” and used much of my illegal bombing footage of Augor. However, right on par, went uncredited.
Click for the newest video KCET did which included my footage, this time, without my knowledge.
