About time pt. 2 – Indonesia

Posted in Indonesia, Photography, Surfing, Travel by Keegan on December 6, 2009

I shoot film as often as I can instead of digital when the opportunity permits. But when I do, sometimes I lag really hard on getting the film processed and scanned etc… since my lab ( A and I) is 30 minutes away.  Here is proof. These photos were taken between Sept. 19th and Oct. 1st on my boat trip in Indonesia.

During the boat trip, one of the deck hands got sick, and we were fearing it may be Maleria or Dhengy Fever. So we went ashore to this small fishing village to take him to a local doctor. These photos are from that village. Below, some kids showing off their jumping and tight rope walking skills.

Local fish.

Javier Brendan Hearne creeping out the local kids with his get-up. Genius.

Within minutes of stepping ashore, it started downpouring so we took refuge next to this building under a little overhang.

Local vollyball field.

This was a 150 yard right hander, 12-15 ft faces, no one out. Breaking and wrapping around that tiny micro island that you can toss a rock from one end to the other.

Jordy sucked over the falls at Lances Right.

Tim Russo chilling out with a Bintang at the Villa Macbeth just before sunset.
